Every beach on the island of St. Lucia,
including those that are part of the top resorts,
is open to the public.
The beaches on the western side of the island
front the tranquil turquoise waters of the Caribbean
Sea are favored for swimming and water sports,
while the wild but beautiful eastern side churns
with the more turbulent waters of the Atlantic
Ocean which are perfect for all kinds of Surfing;
wind surfing, kit surfing and guest who want to
boogie board. The Eastern although scenic to explore
by horseback or jeep, the Eastern beaches are
not preferred for swimming.
Pigeon Island: Pigeon
Island was once the home of Amerindians, a hideout
for pirates and a military base for the British.
A causeway connects the Island landmark of Pigeon
Island to the mainland. It's now a National Park
and Recreational area with beaches and areas for
picnicking.
Rodney Bay:
Reduit Beach has great water sports facilities
along with several Hotels and Restaurants.The
area is renowned for its long white sandy beach
sheltered with tropical greenery. Reduit is the
place for a long stroll by the shore and a swim
in calm waters. One of the most popular beaches
in St.Lucia

Soufierie Beache;Clarity
of the water, and stunning settings are always
included in the descriptions of Soufrière
beach. Gros and Petit Piton volcanic peaks are
make Soufrière a favorite for spot for
sunning. It a favorite for Snorkelers and scuba
divers who come for the adventures to be had at
the 1,800-foot drop off at the base of the Pitons.
